About the Foundation

The "Nowy Kraj" Foundation was founded in the first months of the Ukrainian-Russian war by two women - Ukrainian & Polish. One woman found refuge from the war in Poland and another woman helped her find housing and to settle in the new country. Today they are a good team. No one could have thought that in the 21st century, millions of Ukrainians would be forced to leave their homes and seek a better fate in other countries. The first months of the war showed how much housing was needed. Housing for temporary living in another city of Ukraine until it is possible to return home. Housing that will replace the native home during the repair of damaged housing, construction of a new house, reconstruction of the city. Poles sincerely sheltered Ukrainians in their native homes. But Ukraine also needs houses in the destroyed cities of the country. After all, many people return to their native homes, but unfortunately have nowhere to live.

That is why the lady from Poland and the lady from Ukraine decided to join their efforts and focus on providing free temporary mobile homes for residents of war-torn cities.

Mission of the foundation

To provide a temporary accomodation to every Ukrainian family left without a home.
